Nathan Malone, known under his alias ZekeySpaceyLizard is an American artist and animator. He was one of the most prolific Flash animators on Newgrounds, creating several Flash cartoons from 2003 until his departure in 2010.
From 2009 to 2017, he had also created several animations for TheWeebl, including later episodes of Weebl and Bob and Cat Face.

Not counting deleted submissions, Zekey has 364 movies and 5 games on Newgrounds. These largely consist of spam, collaborations, and random experiments, alongside quality submissions.
Some of his cartoons, such as (Homicidal), Experiment_11, and Meat Grinder include original music made by a friend of his, Mentally Detached.

Zekey has 25 audio submissions, mainly arrangements of video game music made in FL Studio, in addition to a few original tracks.
Reception[]
As of 2011, ZekeySpaceyLizard has won 70 awards, including several Daily Features, Review Crew Picks, and Weekly 2nds. Two of his movies, Squaresville, and Bench were featured in Flash Portal History 2006 and 2008 respectively. Despite regularly having his quality work frontpaged, very few of his submissions have more than 100K views.
Leaving Newgrounds[]
On March 15th 2010, the following post was made on Zekey's userpage, said to have been made by AlmightyHans.
"This is Hans Van Harken speaking for the late ZekeySpacey Lizard. Attention: don't come to this profile, it's a 'dead account'. Instead, go here. Thank you. p.s. don't pm me..."
In a 2014 interview on TheInterviewer, he explained that he received a ban for using a hacked mod account to access a private forum, after which he would change his password and give the account to Hans. Zekey claimed the incident took place in 2007, though it's evident it happened sometime in mid-2009
Despite his departure and the presumed ban, he would be coauthored on a handful of submissions up until 2011, mainly Weebl and Bob episodes he had worked on.
