Author's comments:
"The Matrix Has You" is the result of 6 different artist and months of hard work and planning in what is one of the biggest Flash collaborations on Newgrounds. Each artist brings their unique style to each of the collection's movies. There's a little something for everyone here.

"There is no Spoon" (Metal Maverick), "Zion Rave" (Luke de Ayora), and The Architect (Chris Boe) are comedy based shorts. "Chateau" (Super Flash Bros) and "Burly Brawl" (John and Richie) are action based. And Finally, we have "Final Fight" (Legendary Frog)... a animated criticism for the 3rd Matrix Film. Each short runs about 2-4 minutes.

I hope you all enjoy this collection. Everyone gave 100% to make it the best it can be. Expect more collections like this in the future... "The Matrix Still Has You" is already in early production! Oh, and this movie contains SPOILERS!
Note This information only refers to the official release on the Flash Portal.

The Matrix Has You is a collection of animated shorts based off the sci-fi movie trilogy The Matrix. It was released to the Portal on March 28th, 2004, and was one of the first successful multi-author collaborations, quickly earning the Daily Feature, Front Page, and a top spot on the Portal Top 50 for several months after its release.

The shorts[edit | edit source]

Each author created a short based off a certain scene in the Matrix trilogy, mostly from the first film.

"There Is No Spoon" by Andrew Coe (MetalMaverick)[edit | edit source]

The first short parodies the Oracle scene, where Neo sits down with a child who can bend spoons with his mind. The child hands Neo a spoon, who tries to bend it with his mind. When that fails, he tries to physically bend it with his teeth, which also fails. He then tricks the kid to look away, then bends the spoon with his hands, to which the child responds "There is no Neo" and bends Neo with his mind.
