The Impossible Quiz is now available to download from the AppStore for iPhone/iPod Touch! Only $0.99 (59p)

See how many questions you can answer before it's Game Over. Sounds simple? Think again... the questions are BASTARD hard and require obscure insane logic, super fast reactions or just pure luck to answer correctly.

It's not actually impossible though, just really really hard. GOOD LUCK! Mwahahah! :p

EDIT: Added a mute button due to people moaning.

The Impossible Quiz is a 2007 Quiz game by Splapp-me-do. It is notorious for being extremely difficult to complete.

Design[]

The Impossible Quiz is extremely difficult. There are over 100 multiple-choice questions, and if the player gets questions wrong three times, they lose, going right back to the start. Some questions must be completed in a limited amount of time, or you lose the quiz and have to start all over again. If a certain number of questions are answered correctly, the player gets the option to skip a question.

The questions in the quiz are very difficult and sometimes nonsensical. For example, the first question is "HOW MANY HOLES IN A POLO?" The answer is four, just because of the holes in the letters A POLO. Therefore, a large amount thinking cleverly and outside the box is necessary to complete the game. Or, you could just do some trial an error and hope for the best.

The final question is the most impossible and will reveal a terrible secret about the quiz.

Reception[]

Despite, and perhaps because of, its insane difficulty, The Impossible Quiz was a big hit on Newgrounds. As of September 2010, it has had over 8.8 million views, and has an average review of 9.3/10. Although it won no awards when it came out, it went on to be nominated for the Tank Awards and spawned a sequel, Impossible Quiz 2, which was an immediate success. The Impossible Quiz is also featured in three collections: Flash Portal History, Gadgets, and Puzzles.

Tribute/Parodies[]

Due to its distinctive style and popularity, the Impossible Quiz has spawned oodles of versions from other authors.
