Although its not obvious, I'd say that this JUST makes it into the category "Video Game Parody." The different characters and concept of the game make it seem like one to me.--Salnax 21:57, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

Don't be silly, of course its a parody of video games- its a parody of the idea of levelling up in video games. Its just not a parody of one specific video game. It is most definately, therefore a video game parody

Ref/links needed for this Edit

"The author and much of Newgrounds was very surprised when they saw this submission win the Tank Award. "

-I'm sorry, but looking at this it is not obvious that much of Newgrounds was very surprised- the clamour for LU 2 suggests otherwise, so I have deleted it. Please do not put it back in without evidence to back the statement.

Needs for Front Page Edit

This game has been suggested for Featured Page. Whilst it is generally a good page, it should be improved before featuring. Suggestions include:

  • Another pic -one per section, if an apt pic can be found.
  • Small section of Reception Elsewhere (This wiki is about Newgrounds- reception elsewhere should always be minimal)
  • Info about planned sequel, if available.
  • Info about parodies/tributes and any other related material/submissions.
  • Quotes from any key people, eg. Tom at the Tank Awards. Quotes from Author/contributors
  • Any info about how it qualified for Tank nomination
  • Any more relevent links beyond Newgrounds- eg. Wikipedia?
  • Brief data on Author/contributors and other submissions they have done.
  • Improving writing (which I will do as we go along,; I've made a start)
  • Compare with relevent games- Author says in Notes that it was inspired by Upgrade Complete- what about that game with the Fox on NG?
  • Improve Authors section in box- do we put in all contributors?
  • Once we have improved all the sections below it, we should increase the first paragraph to be a full summary of the sections below.
