David Axel Cazares Casanova, better known as SrPelo (born March 22, 1992) is a well-known Mexican animator, artist and voice actor on both YouTube and Newgrounds. He is best known on Newgrounds for his annual Spooky Month series, which focused on two kids called Skid and Pump, who go around their town to spread Halloween, which referred as the "Spooky Month" and always get on trouble. The duo has also appeared on the hit game Friday Night Funkin', which made it even more popular.
Outside of Newgrounds, Cazares has also been popular for his series "The Mokey Show" and "Super WA HOO Bros" which have spawned several memes.
History[]
Cazares joined Newgrounds in 2012 as "InsaneHead". He made a few animations, which are mostly stuff from his YouTube channel. In 2018, Cazares had rejoined Newgrounds as "Sr Pelo", his username on DeviantArt and YouTube. As he had previous experience on YouTube and DeviantArt, SrPelo quickly became popular on the Newgrounds community, with the first chapter of Spooky Month winning both Daily and Weekly First, and participating on the Smash Bros and Final Fantasy 7 Collabs. Nearly all of his submissions have won awards.
