Cameron William Taylor (born on September 24, 1999 [age: 24]) better known online as ninjamuffin99, is a well-known Canadian programmer and musician on Newgrounds, best known for creating and programming the popular game Friday Night Funkin'.
Due to the success of Friday Night Funkin', Taylor was the first user to reach 100,000 followers, briefly overtaking Derpixon as the most followed user on Newgrounds, although Derpixon had since surpassed him again.
Career[]
Taylor joined Newgrounds at 2015. He started publishing content at 2016: most of them being Spam submissions, with some of them winning Underdog of The Week.
After 2017, he would start taking Newgrounds more seriously, participating on various Collabs, such as the Sketch Collab and the Smash Bros Collab.
During the Ludum Dare 2020, which slogan was "Stuck in a Loop" Taylor formed an small group of developers, composted by him (Programmer), KawaiSprite (Musician), PhantomArcade and Evilsk8r (both Artists), to create an rhythm game: Friday Night Funkin'. Taylor stats the idea of the game was originated after thinking Music was something that would constantly loop, and would fit with the slogan of the competition. The game, despite not winning the competition, would acquire notable fame on Newgrounds, and later, on the entire Internet.

Ninjamuffin99 is the 4th most followed user at Newgrounds: Making him one of the most popular. Despite his popularity is mostly derivative from FNF, he also has made various games which are popular among the Newgrounds community, such as Ritz the Rat, which has its own custom reactions.
Despite FNF not being in the top 50, it still has a score of 4.76 out of 5. The game is also commonly praised and is attributed to increased site traffic on Newgrounds, often being crediting for revitalizing interest on the site.
