MaestroRage is one of the premiere musicians on Newgrounds. Since joining Newgrounds on July 22, 2006, he has had over 130 audio submissions on Newgrounds. His music is mostly within the classical genre, although he has also dabbled in other genres, including Classical Rock and Ambient Music.

He regularly reviews other musicians' work, giving them positive reviews with solid advice. Because of this and his status as one of the top musicians on Newgrounds, his reviews are responded to more often than not.

A large majority of MaestroRage's work has a score of 4/5 or above. As of February 2010, his music has had over 970,000 listens in the Audio Portal. Furthermore, his music is also featured in a wide variety of games and movies, including Toss the Turtle, Dark Cut 3, and "The Press & Punch Collab". He also won the 2007 Tank Awards for best musician, the first musician ever to receive such an honor. However, he has had remarkably few awards in Flash movies and games he's made music for. He only has six awards, none of which are higher than Daily Second. Toss the Turtle, which uses his song "Rage of the Champions," won the Daily Feature and Weekly Users' Choice Awards, but cited MaestroRage as Additional Audio, rather than a collaborator or directly linking to his song. Therefore, he did not receive credit for the awards it received.
