K-Fed: Dancing With Fire is a game made by Tom Fulp, Will Stamper, and Jeff Bandelin. The game was also developed with a little bit of help from Adam Phillips, as shown in the credits. The name of the game is a spinoff from Kevin Federline's debut album, Playing With Fire.
Plot[]
The idea of the game is that you are a bouncer for a new nightclub, Club Douche. Your mission is to not let Kevin Federline into the club. He pulls up and tries to get in, cutting in front of two people who look like Tom Fulp and Tim. After a failed attempt, he walks away, but this time tries to run in. The bouncer takes off his pink shirt and hat, at which this point the game begins.
Gameplay[]
Using the mouse, the player must move the mouse and click in different combinations to hit K-Fed in different ways. Holding down the mouse starts up a super-punch but will fail if the player gets hit while charging.
Once the first bar of K-Fed's health is down, his ex-wife, Britney, starts to interfere. K-Fed takes advantage of this by hiding behind her and giving punches to you. Britney is invincible and won't move away unless you hit the child she is holding (her son). To do so, the player must move the mouse in a direction and punch the baby into the air. Britney will try to catch him, leaving K-Fed open for attacks. If she catches the child, she will move back in front of K-Fed. Dropping the child will cause her to fall to the ground, trying to care for the child.
When K-Fed has no more health, the player is invited to send a super-punch flying to his face. Once that happens, his head comes flying off, onto the ground where Britney and the baby are. The bouncer then pisses on them, while K-Fed's head mumbles gibberish. It is also possible to keep hitting the decapitated head up in the air, for a game of keepy-uppy with K-Feds head.
Reception[]
With over 1.5 million views and 28,000 votes as of June 1 2011, K-Fed: Dancing With Fire is one of the most popular Boxing games on Newgrounds. With the Daily Feature and Weekly Second Awards, as well as an average review of 9.5/10, it's also one of the most critically successful. It was even voted the best game of June 2006.[1] K-Fed: Dancing With Fire is also featured in four Collections: Assassin, Britney Spears, Fighting Games, and Flash Portal History.
