I Swear It's True! is a one off contest hosted by RAC Contests creator NeonProject. Artists were told to find an article online which inspired them to make a submission for the contest. The Contest will be aired on Internet Radio Station Radiogrounds on the 18th of July at 6PM EST 2009.
Judges will score the songs in the following Categories; Representation of the news story, originality of the song, Musicality, Instrumentation and overall entertainment. As well as this Contestants will be asked to name their top 5 opposing acts, this is as well as the live audience vote.
The contest suffered from severe droputs, however managed to get 12 acts in the final week.
