Eddsworld is a web series created by the late Edward Gould (1988-2012) in 2003. The series stars Edd, and his friends Tom and Matt. The series first episode was “Edd”. The series was released on YouTube in early 2006 with the episode “Tord’s Adventure”. It is animated with Adobe Flash.
Eddsworld began in 2003 with the episode “Edd”, and ended in 2012 with “Space Face (Part One)”. Starting with the episode “25ft under the seat”, the character of Tord left the show (Showing him moving away at the beginning of the episode). Classic Eddsworld comprises of every episode before Edd Gould died in 2012. It also contains “Space Face (Part One)” since Edd helped animate it.

Classic Eddsworld[]

Eddsworld: Legacy[]
Eddsworld: Legacy began in 2012 with the episode “Space Face (Part Two)”, and ended in 2015 with “The End (Part Two)”. With this era, Edd and Tord got new voice actors. Tord returned in “The End (Part One)”, but this time with villainous intent. It comprises of the episodes made after the death of Edd Gould, until “The End (Part Two)”
Eddsworld Beyond[]
Eddsworld Beyond began in 2020 with the episode “Fan Service 2”, and is ongoing to this day. Once again, Edd got a new voice actor, and this time so did Tom.
Ellsworld[]
Ellsworld is a sub-series about gender-swapped versions of Edd, Tom, and Matt. It currently only has one episode, being “Slippery Slope”. The gender-swapped versions of the characters are from the Eddsworld: Legacy episode “Mirror Mirror”.

Edd[]
Edd is the counterpart of the late Edd Gould, and the main protagonist in the series. He has brown hair and a green hoodie. He also loves Coca-Cola. He was voiced by Edd Gould until 2012, when he died, and was replaced by Tim Hautekiet until 2016, when the series ended. When the series returned in 2020, he has since been voiced by George Gould.
Tom[]
Tom is the counterpart of Tomas Ridgewell, and the deuteragonist in the series. He has light brown hair and a blue hoodie. He also loves vodka and smirnoffs and hates Christmas. He was voiced by Tomas Ridgewell in 2005-2016, when he left, and he was replaced by Ed Templer.
Matt[]
Matt is the counterpart of Matt Hargreaves, and the tritagonist of the series. He has orange ginger hair and a purple hoodie with a green overcoat. He loves himself and mirrors and he hates having his face getting hurt. In all of the eras, he is voiced by Matt Hargreaves.
Tord[]
Tord is the counterpart of Tord Larsson, and the main antagonist in the series.
Evil Director[]
Evil Director (aka Bing) is the counterpart of Christopher Bingham, and the minor antagonist in the series.
Zanta Claws[]
Zanta Claws is a zombeh version of Santa, and the major antagonist in the series.
Trivia[]
- Episodes are sometimes referred to as eddisodes.
- It is never revealed why Tom’s eyes are black. Some fans speculate that since his mom is a bowling ball, Tom irritated the holes as his eyes.
- Sometime his eyes randomly appear, as seen in the episodes “Zanta Claws” and Zanta Claws III”.
- Currently, the only person to still play himself is Matt.
