Edmund Charles Mcmillen is an American video game developer, animator, and artist who goes by the alias "Bluebaby". He is mainly known from his most notable work, Super Meat Boy. He first created his Newgrounds account on January 21st, 2001.
Flash Submissions[]
Bluebaby is best known for his series of subs about dead babies, beginning with 12 Uses for a Dead baby, which now has its own Collection. The image of the dead babies as blue presumably explains his NG name.
He is a multi-award winning author with a string of Daily 1st and a few weekly awards. In some cases, the significance of his work has only become apparent later, such as his game Time Fcuk, which was not the best of its week, but is now on Flash Portal History 2009 and has over 1.5 million views.
Bluebaby has created othe work, such as The Badlands ,and has collaborated with other Popular Newgrounds users like Tom Fulp and Josh Tuttle (PsychoGoldfish), however Bluebaby has not been active on Newgrounds since 2014, having projects such as The Binding Of Isaac and Mewgenics to worry about and has been in his biggest success ever.
However, he may return to finish GRUB, a multiplayer single-screen RTS game that was programmed by Josh Tuttle for a few weeks, before being hired by Newgrounds. After he was hired, he had no-one to work with so it was cancelled.

He also created the original character art for the indie hit Braid, one of the most popular indie games of recent times.[4] Recently, he has found his biggest sucess, The Binding Of Isaac.
McMillen also worked with Cryptic Sea to make games like Blood Car 2000! And his earliest success, Gish, and a scrapped sequel, Gish 2.
