- Big Brown Bary is a violent bear and the main antagonist of Pico vs. Bear. He acts as a boss to Hoe-Joe, Creepo, Piss and Poop, and Titty. He is a parody of Big Bear, the main character of the children's show Bear in the Big Blue House.
History[]
Pico vs. Bear[]
In Pico vs. Bear, Big Brown Bary kills and holds hostage several children who went to visit the Big Blue House. Pico is then called to deal with the problem, as he has become an expert in handling hostage situations.
Big Brown Bary is first fought at the house's entrance. During the battle, Pico shoots the bear while hiding behind bushes to avoid being shot himself. Bary also calls Piss, Poop and Titty to aid him. After getting injured badly, the bear injects himself with a substance that causes him to get much faster and stronger, although he eventually loses his arms and flees in the house.
Big Brown Bary is later found in the kitchen, where he's revealed to have attached a bomb to himself. Pico defeats him by shooting the microwave and sink to electrocute and disarm the bomb, thus killing Bary and saving the surviving children in the building.
Pico vs. Convict[]
In Pico vs. Convict, Convict transforms into Big Brown Bary while attacking Pico.
Appearance[]
Big Brown Bary is a grossly obese anthropomorphic bear with brown fur, light brown patches and prominent fangs. He wears an army helmet and is seen wielding a pump-action shotgun. After losing both of his arms, he discards his helmet and (somehow) straps himself with a suicide bomb vest.
Bary's original in-game design bore a much closer resemblance to Big Bear.
Trivia[]
- Big Brown Bary has an immobile right arm that is "similar to Bob Dole's hand (and other parts of Mr. Dole [I wish] not to discuss)".
- He forces the other residents of his house to labor to his benefit (see any of the "Clean up the House" sequences throughout the series).
- He is suspected to be a child molester, in relation to his daughter(?), Hoe-Joe.
- Big Brown Bary has delusions of being able to talk to the moon.
- Big Brown Bary is apparently a horrible singer, often singing poorly and loudly.
- He also has issues sniffing people.
