Kira Young, known online as beenibroh, is an artist, animator, and musician on Newgrounds. Beginning in 2017, Kira posted to the Art Portal, though would become a notable contributor in November 2019 when she started posting regularly.

Movies

Kira started uploading to the Movie Portal on January 21st 2020 with I've Been Expecting You, a sprite animation involving Mario and Luigi. Kira had also collaborated with fellow Newgrounds user 8BitAnt on various projects, such as WahProperty: a short series which spanned three short episodes.

Wackyverse

Wackyverse was a series created alongside 8BitAnt and a few others, and hosted on a separate account. The series started out with a single short. Despite it's mostly positive reception, plans to produce a series based around the animation fell through. The reasons behind this decision were disclosed in Kira's own words:

"the production for the show had undergone drama in the friend group which given complications with SOME of the people working together had ultimately lead to me just calling off the project. it was for the better honestly.. regarding the drama itself has long been resolved."

Triothy, one of the characters from the show, ended spawning the holiday Triothy Day.

Rulebenderz

Rulebenderz is a currently work-in-progress web series Kira and Newgrounds user matoh2 have been developing around the time Wackyverse was called off.

Initially, the series was going to emulate a similar animation style that Wackyverse had. However due to Kira not only losing the original rigs she made for Rulebenderz and also developing her art style more, the series went for a more traditional hand drawn animation style. The characters would also undergo significant redesigns.

The current state of the project is unknown.

VibinVendetta

VibinVendetta is a fighting game created by Kira, using the IKEMEN Go engine with a style that nods to early flash games from the site. The game features a cast of Kira and her friends' original characters, each with their own special moves and unique personalities. Kira has released several tracks for the game onto the audio portal, many of which have received frontpage awards. The game’s trailers, including the notable "VIBINVENDETTA [the starter]," have also won various daily awards on the site. This particular trailer featured a custom, gory sequence with Jade, tailored specifically for Newgrounds. In terms of quality assurance, Kira ensures that each character and feature is thoroughly tested and polished before updates are released.
