Annika is an award winning illustration in the Art Portal that was submitted by AlvinHew on October 2nd, 2009. It depicts a browned-haired girl (possibly a same name as the illustration) sitting at the tree with her maps, a dagger, and other stuff while gaze upon the summer heat.

Annika is very typical for the illustration made in the 2000s, with its elements of high fantasy, as seen with the character design was heavily inspired by Final Fantasy, with its style very-semi realistic and its neutral but bright colors and lighting. The colors were very common with brown and green color scheme, with the purple scarf being the standout from the rest.
