Alien Hominid is the protagonist of the Alien Hominid Flash and console games. He was designed by Dan Paladin, and was the first Flash character to feature in a console video game.
Description[]
The Alien Hominid is a small yellow alien, about the size of a child, with big black eyes and antennae, and is usually carrying a laser gun. He is proficient at using a variety of weapons, including his laser, grenades, knives, and a UFO. The Alien Hominid also seems to be skilled at digging, a technique he uses to take cover and ambush enemies with. Although he is violent when threatened, he is friendly to those who help him, such as the fat kids he meets who give him power-ups in the console game. He also likes collecting hats.

Alien Hominid's story is similar in both the Flash and console games, although it is considerably fleshed out in the console game. Alien Hominid had crashed on Earth, and awoke to find that his ship had been taken by the FBI. Eventually, he is able to rebuild his ship, but is brought down by a Russian missile headed towards America. After going to Area 51 and defeating a mutated clone of himself, he is able to leave.

Alien Hominid is a playable character in Newgrounds Rumble. Alien Hominid is also featured in a number of tributes and parodies, including Everything by Everyone, Alien Hominid VS. The Kid, and Madness: Newgrounds. He is also an unlockable character in Castle Crashers as well as an enemy type. He also features in the iconic group picture The Gang on the Flash Portal page. In the 2007 Tank Awards games winner Newgrounds Rumble he was a playable character.
