Abobo's Big Adventure is a action flash game created by Mockery and Poxpower, along with PestoForce, JackSmash and Abobo. The game focuses on Abobo: an antagonist of Double Dragon, who's son got kidnapped by less-obscure NES characters and he must fight them back.
Story[]
It's the year 1985, and the NES is released. The NES is an huge hit among America and the whole world, along with all his characters and games. However, one of them lives alone, with an developed hatred to the rest: Abobo. Abobo never got the chance to share his story, and was rather reduced to be an sub-boss of the game Double Dragon. Abobo's son, Aboboy, got kidnapped by the rest, and now, it is Abobo's time to shine.

The game uses 8-bit artstyle reminiscent to a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Most of the sprites are ripped from their respective NES games like Punch-Out, Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, and of course Double Dragon, while a few, mainly for cutscenes, are custom-made.
Gameplay[]
Abobo's Big Adventure has various types of gameplay, all of them based on NES games. For example: it includes levels based on Double Dragon, Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Balloon Fight, Contra, and Punch-Out.
Reception[]
Abobo's Big Adventure has won many awards and has been called "Game of the Century" by Newgrounds. It has also appeared in other websites, such as Armor Games.
